At Johanna Jacobs Vocational Training Center (JJVTC), we are committed to equipping Namibian youth and school leavers with the technical and entrepreneurial skills needed to thrive in today’s economy. Our TVET training programs prepare graduates to contribute to Namibia’s economic growth and align with the government’s Vision 2030 goals.
With formal employment opportunities shrinking in the Hardap Region, self-employment is becoming an essential pathway for economic stability. That’s why our programs emphasize practical skills, innovation, and entrepreneurship, ensuring that graduates can secure jobs or create their businesses in Namibia’s evolving workforce.
Admission is open to unemployed youth, adults, and artisans seeking to upgrade their skills. Applicants must have a Grade 10/11 certificate with at least 14 points (including an E in English, Mathematics, and Science) or pass an aptitude test. Selection is transparent and objective, and successful candidates can apply for study loans through NSFAF. Trainees undergo internal and external assessments regulated by the Namibia Training Authority (NTA) and must complete a mandatory job attachment after Level 2 to gain real-world experience.
